Geographic Assessor
I led the end-to-end UX and UI redesign of ERI’s Geographic Assessor, a compensation software tool that helps organizations understand geographic differences in labor costs and build more accurate salary structures. The goal was to make a complex, data-heavy experience easier to navigate and more intuitive for compensation professionals who rely on geographic wage data to make informed decisions.

I owned the product experience from early concepts through final delivery, including information architecture, interaction design, UI, prototyping, and user testing. I led feedback sessions with users and compensation experts to identify pain points, validate concepts, and continuously refine the experience. Throughout the process, I worked closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to balance user needs with technical and business requirements.

I also partnered directly with ERI executives and compensation experts throughout the design process, presenting concepts, gathering feedback, and using those conversations to guide product decisions. The redesign resulted in increased customer satisfaction, more new business sign-ups, and an increase in subscription upgrades among existing clients. Beyond improving usability, the work helped make a complex compensation product easier to understand, more valuable to customers, and stronger as a business offering.
