Hi, my name is Nico and I'm from Orange County, California. I'm a Senior UX Product Designer with 9+ years of experience designing digital products across fintech and e-commerce.
I started my career in fintech, working on B2B SaaS products for the Economic Research Institute and growing from a junior designer into a senior designer managing a small team of three. It taught me how to simplify complex workflows, work closely with cross-functional teams, and advocate for the people using the products we build.
I then moved to Pacsun, where I got to dive into e-commerce and think more deeply about the shopping experience. I began designing experiences that range from helping customers find what they need to making product pages and purchase flows feel easier to use.
Lately I've been exploring how AI-powered workflows and personalization can make the design process more efficient and how it can improve the customer experience. As I learn, I enjoy sharing ideas with my teammates through working sessions, lunch-and-learns, and collaborative think tanks.
Outside of work, I like stay creative through photography, improving my amateur barista skills, and making handcrafted leather goods.
